“地质过程与矿产资源国家重点实验室”2018年度开放课题申请通知

　　根据科技部、财政部有关文件的精神，为了充分发挥国家重点实验室研究基地的作用，促进科研合作和学术交流，现发布“地质过程与矿产资源国家重点实验室”2018年度开放课题申请通知，具体事宜如下：

　　1. 资助领域：围绕下述研究领域或方向，给予重点资助（Proposed research themes：The research subjects stated below will be funded in a high priority）：

　　（1）岩石圈构造：围绕“岩石圈-地幔深部过程与浅部构造响应”这一地球科学国际前沿科学问题，以构造解析、盆地分析为主线，以特提斯和西太平洋构造域为研究基地，开展从陆缘到陆内岩石圈组成、结构与构造过程研究，结合深部地幔动力学数值模拟，深化对大陆变形与演化及其与深部过程互馈关系的认识（Lithosphere structure: The theme is focused on the frontier scientific question in the field of Earth Science: “The lithosphere-deep mantle processes and shallow tectonic responses”. Taking Tethys and Western Pacific tectonic domains as the research bases and using the methodologies of structural and basin analyses, the proposed study should work on the chemical composition and structure of lithosphere and associated tectonic processes from along continental margins to within continental interiors. Combining the geodynamic modelling, the proposed research is expected to broaden our understanding of the deformation and evolution of continental crust and their corresponding to the deep mantle process）。

　　（2）大陆汇聚与高原隆升：围绕“大陆汇聚与高原隆升过程”研究方向，针对“青藏高原的隆升过程和机制”重大科学问题，利用新资料重建印度－亚洲汇聚过程，重点聚焦是否存在印度－亚洲碰撞之前的隆升，以及是何种深部过程影响和控制了这种可能的隆升，深入解剖地表抬升与深部过程之间的时空耦合关系（Continental convergence and plateau uplift: The theme is focused on the key scientific question of “the uplift process and mechanism of Tibetan plateau” under the scheme of “the continental convergence and plateau uplift”. The proposed research is expected to synthesize novel literature data to reconstruct the convergence process of India-Asia collision, address whether there was an uplift process before India-Asia collision, the deep process in controlling this uplift, and tempo-spatial coupling between surface uplift and the deep process）。

　　（3）金属同位素与壳幔物质循环：以金属同位素（金属稳定同位素与放射性同位素）作为示踪/定年手段，研究地球深部碳循环、大陆岩石圈地幔演化、金属成矿作用及地球古环境演化等领域涉及的重大科学问题（Metal isotopes and recycling of crust-mantle materials: The theme is focused on metal isotopes (including metal stable and radiogenic isotopes) in source tracing and age dating. Under this theme, the proposed research should focus on the major scientific questions in these areas, including deep carbon recycling, the continental lithospheric mantle evolution, mineralization, and Earth’s paleo-environment evolution）。

　　（4）岩浆-热液演化与金属成矿：揭示岩浆形成和演化与金属元素富集的内在联系和热液流体演化过程，分析流体出溶过程中金属元素在岩浆-流体的分配与控制因素，阐释壳-幔结构、深部地质过程对金属元素巨量堆积以及热液流体演化对金属元素富集的控制机理（Magmatic-hydrothermal evolution and mineralization：The theme is focused on magmatic-hydrothermal processes and mineralization. The proposed research is expected to unravel the relationships of metal enrichment processes with magma formation and hydrothermal evolution, investigate the partitioning behaviors and controlling factors of metals during magmatic fluid exsolution, and ultimately elucidate how the crust-mantle structure, geodynamic process, and hydrothermal fluid evolution lead to the metal enrichment and formation of giant ore deposits）。

　　2. 申报时间：实验室2018年4月20日到5月31日接受校外申请书，并请申请者将申请书正文、签字页和盖章页电子版（PDF格式）发送到实验室邮箱，评审结果将在6月30日前告知申请者（Application duration: We accept applications from April 20^th to May 31^th in 2018. Please e-mail the application form with the signed and stamped pages (PDF format) to our laboratory. The applicants will be informed of the results before June 30^th in 2018）。

　　3. 标注方式：课题研究成果归申报者单位和本实验室共有，发表论文或申请专利时，将“地质过程与矿产资源国家重点实验室（中国地质大学），北京，100083”（State Key Laboratory of Geological Processes and Mineral Resources, China University of Geosciences, Beijing, 100083, China）标注为第一作者的第一或第二署名单位，同时在致谢或首页脚注标注“地质过程与矿产资源国家重点实验室开放课题编号”（Supported by Open Research Project from the State Key Laboratory of Geological Processes and Mineral Resources, China University of Geosciences）。未按照要求标注，实验室将不拨付经费及办理结题手续（Labeling: The research achievements related to this funding belong to both the applicant’s affiliation and State Key Laboratory of Geological Processes and Mineral Resources. The related publications and patents should label the “State Key Laboratory of Geological Processes and Mineral Resources, China University of Geosciences, Beijing, 100083, China” as the first or second affiliation of the first author. In addition, the acknowledgement should label “Supported by Open Research Project from the State Key Laboratory of Geological Processes and Mineral Resources, China University of Geosciences”. Our laboratory will not allocate funds nor process the completion procedure of the open fund project, if the labelling is not appropriate）。

　　4. 成果奖励：课题成果以本实验室为第一标注单位，如在Nature、Science发表论文额外奖励项目经费40万元/篇；如在Nature Geosciences、PNAS、Nature Communications、Science Advances发表论文额外奖励项目经费10万元/篇；如在Geology、Earth and Planetary Science Letters、Tectonics、American Mineralogist、Journal of Petrology、Economic Geology、Geochimica et Cosmochimica Acta、Journal of Geophysical Research - Solid Earth刊物发表论文额外奖励项目经费5万元/篇；其它刊物论文无额外项目经费奖励（Publication rewards：If our key laboratory was labelled as the first affiliation of the open fund related publications, the extra rewards of research budget will be: 400k RMB (Chinese yuan) for Nature or Science, 100k RMB for Nature Geoscience, PNAS, Nature Communications, and Science Advances; and 50k RMB for Geology, Earth and Planetary Science Letters, Tectonics, American Mineralogist, Journal of Petrology, Economic Geology, Geochimica et Cosmochimica Acta, and Journal of Geophysical Research - Solid Earth. Articles published in other journals do not receive extra rewards）。

　　5. 经费使用：重点开放课题10-20万元/年，资助期限为三年，每年资助不超过6项，一般开放课题5-10万元/年，资助期限为三年，每年资助不超过6项。获得资助的重点开放课题和一般开放课题至少分别需要发表2和1篇国际SCI论文。（1）根据国家重点实验室专项经费管理办法，开放课题的经费不能外拨；（2）申请者从事与课题密切相关的科研差旅费、会务费、测试费、成果出版费等；（3）原则上要求资助经费的50％以上用于地质过程与矿产资源国家重点实验室的测试分析）（Funding usage: The funding for KEY open project is 100-200k RMB per year with three-year duration, and maximum 6 projects will be funded each year. The funding for NORMAL open project is 50-100k RMB per year with three-year duration, and maximum 6 projects will be funded each year. At least two or one international SCI papers are required to publish after the completion of the KEY or NORMAL open project, respectively. Regarding to the usage of this funding: (1) according to the State Key Laboratory Special Fund Management Methods, the open funds could not be allocated to the external units; (2) the fund can only be used in the project-related areas, such as travel, conference, analysis, and publication; (3) in principal, 50% or more of the funds should be used in analysis within State Key Laboratory of Geological Processes and Mineral Resources）。

　　6. 其他：（1）母语为中文的申请者，请用中文撰写申请书；母语为英文或其他语种的申请者，请用英文撰写申请书；（2）如开放课题因故中断或无法继续进行时，实验室有权中断课题经费的使用或取消原批准的经费；（3）课题执行期间，课题负责人属本实验室流动研究人员，实验室将提供分析测试的便利（Others： (1) Please submit the proposal in Chinese for the applicants of native Chinese speaking and in English for the applicants of other native language speaking; (2) Our laboratory has the right to cut the funding or withdraw the approval if the open project is disrupted; (3) the open project leader belongs to the temporary staff of our laboratory, and we will provide convenience for the analysis）。
